New Text Messaging Provider Added: Boost Mobile

I was going through my “starred” emails and I noticed that one of my readers had requested that I add Boost Mobile to my text messaging form. Well, I’m late in getting to it, but as of today, you can now send texts to Boost Mobile subscribers via my online form.

Additionally, I’m rather intrigued by Boost Mobile’s text messaging specs. Their service allows for 500 character text messages. What’s more, you can add a replies section to your texts that allows recipients to reply to a list of options you provide.

P.S. If you’re a fan of my text messaging form, don’t worry. I will continue to keep it available on my site. ;)

36046 Text Messages Sent Since January 16th

My online text messaging form continues to be one of the most popular “hidden features” of this site. As of this post, visitors to my site have sent 36046 text messages since it first debuted on January 16th of this year. That comes out to 5149 texts per month, or around 171 per day.

Additionally, I continue to add new wireless providers as requested by users. Just last night I added Metro PCS. Is there a provider you would like to see, or do you have a story to share about how you use my form? I’d love to hear from you.
