Given the recent redesign of this site, for today’s Picture of the Day I thought I would offer a stroll down memory lane: 1) The original “Old West” design for this site. It ran from September 17, 2003 through December 13, 2007. 2) On December 13, 2007, I transitioned my personal site over to WordPress. Along with the transition, I created a theme which featured elements of my “Old West look” while encorporating elements of the latest “Magazine-style” WordPress themes. 3) During the spring of ‘08, I focused more on writing and social media. With that change in focus, I introduced a new theme that I designed to feature my latest post. 4) Sunday, May 24th, 2009 marked the return of Picture of the Day and the “Old West” style that has been my trademark through the years. It feels especially good to have returned to my “roots.”

The Sirit PnP RFID (Plug-n-Play Radio Frequency Identification) website was born out of an ambitious request: “We need an ecommerce website in three weeks.”
Fortunately, I was able to meet my client’s needs by integrating Zencart Ecommerce software into my Quickweb Content Management System. The combination of these two softwares gave me the flexibility I needed to deliever a scalable ecommerce solution with time to spare.
The final specs of the website included:
