Earlier I mentioned my wife and I were evaluating a trial version of MoneyWell. We’ve been so pleased with the software that last night we went ahead and purchased the full version. At some point, I may purchase the iPhone MoneyWell app. If I do, I’ll be sure to give a review here. In the meantime, here’s today’s roundup of Links of Interest:
- The Mountain | Vimeo.com – This time lapse footage taken from atop Spain’s highest mountain has been making the rounds. And, it’s for good reason as it features some fantastic shots of the Milky Way. Click through to watch the video and read the story behind the making of this fantastic film.
- Ayn Rand – A Collection of Posts | ClayJones.net – Ayn Rand has had a great impact on our culture. Her ideas have influenced psychology’s “self-esteem” movement, Alan Greenspan’s understanding of laissez-faire capitalism, and the thinking of many persons in politics (e.g. Ron Paul and his son Rand, Rush Limbaugh and The Tea Party). With the recent release of the movie based on her book, Atlas Shrugged, Clay Jones provides a balanced assessment of her views:
- Got an iPhone or 3G iPad? Apple is recording your moves – O’Reilly Radar – This week it was discovered that ever since the release of iOS 4, Apple has been recording your physical location on iDevices such as the iPhone and 3G iPads.
- Return to Dark Castle – Mac App Store – Old school Mac fans will remember Dark Castle, a platform style arcade game. I was happy to see an update to this classic appear in the Mac App store. The game’s original creator says it “has [his] full endorsement.”
