I originally shot this photo on January 16, 2003. That night the snow began to fall in the early evening hours and finished around 8 or 9pm. Afterwards, I walked out of my parent’s home with camera and tripod in hand to find this scene ready for the taking.

I remember this shot!! It was when I was going through all of your pictures from the beginning. Before I moved here in September of 2003. Ah…such a long time ago. I loved and still do the symmetry of this shot, and the way that it looks like a painting. Oh…and of course I love the fact that you had snow here in TN…Here’s to hoping we see this scene again soon!

Prior to uploading this picture to my Flickr account, I painted out a stop sign on the corner. That really made a difference to the overall mood of this picture.
