The Winds of Change

screenshot.michaelwender.jpgThe winds of change have blown through the MichaelWender.com offices as today marks the debut of the new layout for my web site. During the past couple of weeks, I’ve been hard at work developing and refining this site’s layout to take advantage of new skills and technologies that I have acquired during the past couple of months and years.

This redesign marks the first major change in the layout of my website in over five years. Given that my previous “antique newspaper” design has served me well, my aim in developing this new look was to retain some “antique” elements while also taking advantage of the latest CSS techniques and incorporating many of my current design sensibilities. Hopefully, the result is a layout which looks to the future while honoring this web site’s past.

In the coming days and weeks, I’m looking forward to showing off the new features and capabilities of this site. In addition to the new large format pictures that I will post daily, I will also be adding videos that I spot around the web. Plus, I have a lot of ideas for new articles to post from time-to-time. Since this site has been rather dormant for the past couple of weeks while I have been busy designing it, it will be nice to get back to a regular publishing rhythm.

Given this new design and my plans for new daily and weekly content, there has never been a better time to subscribe to Go Web Young Man:
