Here’s a frame from some video I shot in Tijuana, Mexico on May 30.
Blog Extra:
After reading a little from C. S. Lewis’ Surprised by Joy, I wrote the following prose which I think fits nicely with today’s POD:
I imagine it is possible to be so busy thinking that one doesn’t have time to think. Therefore, I stop and reflect for it is here that I find the heart of God. The meanness of the World passes like the sun dipping below the western sea and the clamoring of my Flesh stills before the twilight whispering of my Soul.
One by one the stars fix themselves upon a velvet scroll. Their light calls to mind memories of simple courtesies, a kind word, or the hand of Providence. Before a sea of diamonds, I set aside all pettiness, envy, and vanity; and the eyes of my heart open to see the face of God set amongst the stars.
