I had the same issue, I never once thought of the administrative settings.  Worked perfectly for me, my virus program must have turned it off without me realizing it.  I could not resolve after then, I assumed i had a virus.  Great advice!</description>

the problem is that the DNS client is disabled or another command relating to the DNS.

to change this you must

&#38;gt;start - control panel
&#38;gt;Administrative tools
&#38;gt;Services

then check the client and set to automatic if it is not on and start it

		<description>It will not flush the dns after I release and renew my ip then do the ipconfig /flushdns I get the message that it cannot flush the dns resolver I have had this problem before and found a fix on the web but cannot remember where I found the answer thanks anyway...</description>
