The Sirit PnP RFID (Plug-n-Play Radio Frequency Identification) website was born out of an ambitious request: “We need an ecommerce website in three weeks.”

Fortunately, I was able to meet my client’s needs by integrating Zencart Ecommerce software into my Quickweb Content Management System. The combination of these two softwares gave me the flexibility I needed to deliever a scalable ecommerce solution with time to spare.

The final specs of the website included:

• Quickweb CMS
• Wordpress Blog
• Contact form
• Home page Flash animation
• Zencart Ecommerce software

PODs have been few and far between because I’ve been working hard on this e-commerce site: www.pnprfid.com. This post is a celebration of just getting finished with it.

During his time at UT, my friend Josh was the man behind the mascot, Smoky. Now, he’s living in New York with a gig as the NJ Devil’s mascot. While he was in town, we met to discuss his upcoming website.

Last night, 25 YAMmers journeyed to Thompson Boling Arena to watch the number 8 UT Men’s basketball team defeat Aubun, 105 to 89.
